Interests and Hobbies
Guitar - I started playing in high school and have continued to play in my free time. I have also recently began working on and modifying guitars.
Rock Climbing - Coming to Utah State University right next to Logan Canyon has provided the perfect opportunity to learn rock climbing. I really enjoy rock climbing and find it a great way to be outside in nature and get out of your comfort zone.
Biking - I used to ride BMX with friends often in high school and during my time in college also developed a love for mountain and road biking. My favorite ride I have ever done was a 50 mile ride on a bike trail in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Robotics - In high school I was on team 399 competing in FRC (Frist Robotics Competition). We only had six weeks to design and build a robot to solve a unique problem assigned by the organization. Working through the creative process and participating in competitions with my friends is some of the most fun I have ever had.
Games/Cards - My family and I used to play games when I was a kid all the time and now with my friends we continue to enjoy playing board games and card games.
Manufacturing - In high school my friends and I would weld and create projects like go karts. In college, when I began working at the Metal Factory, I was able to create exciting projects again which has been very enjoyable.
Engineering - I love figuring out how things work and trying to think of unique solutions to innovate or improve things.
